is my charm bracelet real sterling silver?
I just bought a charm bracelet today, and I wasn’t sure if it was real sterling silver. It cost 30 dollars. I went on some websites to get some advice, and on the clasp of my bracelet, it says 925 ITALY. It seems pretty heavy. And on the price tag when I bought it, it says S.S. I asked the people at the store (I got this at Zellers) and they said that is was sterling silver. But I don’t know if I can take their word for it. They said it was a new brand that the store got. I’m pretty sure they told me it was “DiVinci”. It comes in a blue box. But I’m really not sure. Please help me!!!
Yes. If you see 925 on it anywhere, that means its 92.5% sterling silver mixed with another metal. So yes. Remember the 925 trick when you’re buying jewelry or look for SS imprinted on it somewhere.
