right positioning of silver ware in the dishwasher???
my mom and I can not agree on if the tops of the spoons, folks and knives should face down or face up!!

she thinks face up. and idk its driving me crazy…i guess there really isn’t a right answer so if you could just let me know what you do! thanks.
knives down so you don’t commit suicide just emptying the bin- same with forks, spoons up so they don’t hold water and stain. sharp knives – big ones- go in top rack lying on their sides. I used to be really anal about it and put all spoons in one section knives in another etc but found that caused nesting and it was better to mix it up. I love the dishwasher!
