how do i get a photo inside of my girlfriends locket? glue?
i got my girlfriend a very nice sterling silver locket. i have the picture and everything. i dont know how to get it in. i know how to cut the picture its just i bought a locket that doesnt have anything to hold the picture in. i figure i need to use glue. if so what kind of glue is photo safe? and if not glue than what do i do please answer as soon as possible, her birthday is very soon. i appreciate all answers.

If your locket doesn’t have a separate piece of metal to hold the photo, get some scarp card stock and a paper punch and start making patterns by trial and error. Punch a hole in the center of the pattern. Try it for “fit”. The hole makes it easy to pop the pattern back out again with a pin or a needle. The pattern should be just large enough to pop into place without difficulty, but not so small that it will fall out on its own. Copy the semi-final pattern onto clear plastic and cut the picture to “fit”. Use a cuticle stick or similar non-sharp tool to aid in inserting the picture (s).
